Drawing deeply from her well of life experience, Donna Bobadilla boldly interprets her vision through art. Her aim is to create works that express her inner reality and inspire viewers to discover new perceptions and meanings that enrich daily life.
Donna’s diverse background includes experience in advertising sales, jewelry design, retail boutiques, real estate sales, and as a restaurateur. Born and raised in Rochester, New York, she attended the Rochester Institute of Technology’s School of Art and Design, as well as The Eastman School of Music, where she majored in French horn. Donna has taught arts and crafts to youngsters and participated in numerous community art projects.
Inspired by travel and enriched by other cultures, Donna’s journeys have profoundly influenced her personal insight. A pivotal moment came when she visited Israel for an “Artist in Residence Workshop,” where she realized—and fully embraced—her identity as an artist. This experience sparked a new dedication to creating and sharing her unique artistic voice.
Donna’s first exhibit, “The Honest Profile” in Sedona, combined collage, painting, and mosaics, and marked the beginning of her public exhibitions. Her growth and evolution as an artist are reflected in the ongoing transformation of her work, with each piece offering personal statements rendered on canvas through a “natural eye” that captures the drama and hidden nuances of life.
She has exhibited at Papa’s Uptown Restaurant, ‘Tis Art Center & Gallery, The Raven Café, That New Gallery, Prescott Center for the Arts, The Prescott Art Market, El Gato Azul, and is currently showing at the Art Squared Gallery in Prescott, Arizona.
Donna’s intent is to uncover and amplify the emotion at the core of every experience, exploring it through line, form, shape, color, and texture. She hopes her art fosters personal growth, greater awareness, and deeper connections for herself and all who engage with her creations.
