Lily Canizro

Lily Canizro began her artistic journey in eighth grade, inspired by a lifelong love of Italy — a passion passed down from her Italian grandmother, who believed deeply in Lily’s future as a professional artist. A defining early moment came when her first sold piece, a mixed-media work of Florence’s Duomo, was purchased by a husband for his wife living with dementia, giving her a meaningful “window to the world.” Created during Lily’s first Mother’s Day without her grandmother, the experience affirmed her belief that art can carry memory, love, and connection.

Today, Lily is known locally for her distinctive hand-painted glass — a rare niche that merges fine art with everyday function. Her work is intentionally user-friendly and functional, inviting art into daily rituals rather than placing it out of reach. In addition to her glass collections, Lily offers classes and custom commissions, helping others transform personal stories, family memories, and beautiful moments into lasting works of art meant to be lived with and shared.
