Patricia Fiedler has always loved photography. While she had an early interest in capturing images, she didn’t have access to a darkroom and was subject to the quirks of local photo labs. The arrival of Photoshop changed everything, allowing Patricia to take creative control of her prints and opening up new worlds of possibility.
Her first camera was a Brownie, followed by an Instamatic, and later her first semi-professional camera, a Kodak 35mm rangefinder. Once Photoshop became available—back when it was distributed on floppy disk—Patricia began expanding her collection of cameras, ultimately moving from a Canon 35mm to her current Nikon D850.
Patricia took an online course from the New York School of Photography but remains largely self-taught. Her main interest is landscape photography, though her passion and curiosity have led her to travel the world and capture its beauty both on film and digitally.
Patricia hopes her photography brings as much joy to viewers as she experienced in capturing each moment. She welcomes questions, feedback, and connections from fellow photography lovers.
