Gale Henry
Gale Henry's love of art began as a child growing up in a small town in Michigan. Even then, she found creative ways to turn ordinary things into something beautiful—raking leaves into designs of houses before reluctantly throwing them away.
For more than 50 years, Gale has expressed herself through painting, primarily working with acrylics. Art has been a lifelong part of her journey, from painting the interior of her own home to creating murals and portraits of beloved animals.
After raising two children and caring for her mother until her passing in 2016, Gale was invited to join an art group in 2017. Since then, her artwork has earned ribbons, been exhibited at the Arizona State Fair in Phoenix, and she spent a year with the Mountain Artists Guild in Prescott. She has also created two murals, including one in Yarnell, Arizona.
Gale finds inspiration everywhere—horses, people, flowers, landscapes, nature, trains, and anything that captures her imagination. Today, she continues to paint from her home in the mountains of Peeples Valley, Arizona, where she finds beauty in the world around her and brings it to life on canvas.
