Kim Falke
Kim Falke was born in 1961 in Fort Stockton, Texas. As a young girl, she discovered art as a meaningful outlet—an escape from the challenges of a dysfunctional family environment. In 1974, her family relocated to Cody, Wyoming, where she later met her husband, David.
In 1983, Kim and David moved to Arizona, where they established their permanent home and raised their family. During this time, Kim was fortunate to be a stay-at-home mother, allowing her to continue nurturing her passion for art. She began entering her work in the Arizona State Fair and county fairs, earning several ribbons in fine arts.
In 1996, the family moved to Cave Creek, Arizona, where Kim successfully consigned and sold her artwork. She currently resides in Mayer, Arizona, and remains deeply committed to her creative practice. In 2025, she entered her work in the Yavapai County Fair Fine Arts competition, where she received multiple awards, including the prestigious President's Award for her drawing "Wanted Cowboy."
Today, Kim focuses on mixed media art, incorporating a variety of objects and materials to create the rich textures that define her work. Her pieces are widely appreciated for their originality, uniqueness, and distinctive style.
Kim would like to extend her sincere thanks to Prescott Fine Art for the opportunity to showcase her work.
