Joe & Lynda Duffy

Joe and Lynda Duffy, of Duffy Metal Works, are native Arizonans who enjoy bringing the beauty and elegance of nature indoors, through their original creations. Their medium is metal, specializing in upcycling unique, often antique, materials. Their mission is simple: “Create Beautiful Art for the World in Which You Want to Live.” Joe’s talent comes naturally.

Joe’s father, John Duffy, was a renowned metal artist in the 1960’s. Joe began welding with his father when he was seven and never laid his torch down. Joe began creating figurines out of nails, old auto parts, horseshoes, nuts and bolts. Joe expanded to metal hanging wind chimes. His creative mind seldom rests. His talent has developed into creating large custom outdoor sculptures. Joe’s tree of life sculptures are created using antique wagon wheels as the frame. The centerpiece … the trees … are constructed from horseshoes and nails with copper accents throughout. The large trees have become so popular, customers requested smaller versions that could be displayed prominently inside their homes. These stunning, nature-inspired accents are designed for a living room or as a striking addition to an entryway. These magnificent tree of life sculptures will bloom eternally in your home, bringing a sense of natural peace to your spaces. These sculptures are built to last several generations.

Lynda loves creating hanging metal chimes. She is the color specialist and is responsible for making the chimes stunningly beautiful. Chimes range in size from 18- 24 inches in length and weigh 5-10 pounds. Because these chimes are heavy, it takes alot of wind to move them. These chimes produce deep, resonant and tranquil tones. Each chime sounds different. Metal does not break, so don’t be afraid to try out the chimes to find the perfect one for you.

The couple is honored to have their creations featured inside Prescott Fine Art. Joe and Lynda participate occasionally at Pine Ridge Marketplace Artisans Market offered the second weekend of the month throughout the year.
